Another Break From the Regular

I wanted to take some time and talk about some of my favorite movies.  As you goes know I am real into music, I am also into movies as well.  Maybe not as much as music but enough none the less.  I love all kinds of movies.  My tastes have shifted a little over the years as I have gotten older and a little wiser.  Just a little though haha.  I used to be just into slapstick comedies, and horror, and now I'm into dramas and thrillers.  I'm still heavy into the stupid comedies out there but I'm diversifying a little.  Movies for me are pretty therapeutic just like music is in the sense that when I'm feeling a certain emotion anger, happiness, sadness, envy or whatever I watch a certain movie.  So I guess I'll compile a list just like everything else of the movies that I watch the most.  I don't know how many it will be.  Ten, or maybe even thirty, but they are the movies that have enriched my life over the years.  So here they are.  Some of the vids are official trailers, and some are movies made by people that love the movies as much as I do.  I don't own any rights to any of them, and am using them for appreciation purposes only.  So thank you youtube :).

So here is the list of movies that I really can't live without.  There are many many more like The Superman movies, Gladiator, Walk Hard, Scarface, Troy, A Beautiful Mind, Stargate, The Faculty, Forest Gump,  The Fifth Element. and Masters of the Universe.  I remember when I was going through a major depressive time I would watch The Crow almost everyday for like a year straight.  I also remember wearing out the VHS tape of Masters of the Universe so many times my mother would have to buy it again and again.  When I got out of the house I was shopping one day and found it on DVD.  You know I had to buy it.  I'd say I've watched that movie at least two hundred times.  I used to run aound in my Superman pjs all day long.  Its funy cause my son is doing the same thing.  Like father like son hu.  My teachers sent me home from school one day saying that I wasn't allowed to wear my night time clothes to school, and that I had to change in order to come back to school.  I was fine with never going back if it ment I had to take off my Superman suit.  I'm also really into vampire movies (NOT TWILIGHT THOUGH.  THEY'RE JUST HORRIBLE) so The Lost Boys, and Dracula were huge for me. I also really like Interview With A Vampire.  Pretty much anything that Jim Carrey does is excellent.  He is a comedy machine.  I'm also really into tv shows like That 70's Show, The Simpsons, Family Guy, The Big Bang Theory, Metelacolypse, Scrubs, Bones, and Lie To Me.  All of these shows surprisingly enough have taught me a lot about a lot haha.  I am absolutely obsessed with The Simpsons.  I have all of the seasons on DVD, which is like 13 consecutive, and season 20.  I will forever love all of these movies, and shows and like I said before I'm widening my pallet of tastes when it comes to cinema so I can't wait to see what I'm into in ten years.  So until next time.  Stay hard, stay heavy.
